Marketing and Communications Officer
Location: Support Services
The YMCA of Sydney is one of Sydney's most recognisable community organisations. We aim to build strong people, strong families & strong communities through our programs including health & fitness, aquatics, sports competitions, children's services, outdoor education and much more.
Based at our Support Services Office in Parramatta, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing and Communications Officer
Filling an existing vacancy, this position is primarily responsible for the Marketing & Communications functions of campaign development, media and PR, branding, collateral and resource development, communications and planning. In this capacity you will also gain exposure to all areas of marketing the YMCA of Sydney.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Campaign development & implementation
- Collateral development
- Media, PR and Communications
- Website content administration
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Marketing qualifications with 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
- Very strong organisational and project management skills, ideally including campaign management.
- An eye for professional presentation and design with desktop publishing skills including MS Publisher.
- Outstanding written, communication and interpersonal skills.
