  • PrYme Movers Programs

    PrYme Movers, which includes both land and water-based programs for mature adults, is based on progressive resistance training, and incorporates aerobic exercise, balance and flexibility classes. However, far from being just an exercise program, PrYme is a powerful social network for our participants who enjoy regular outings together and are encouraged to stay on after their class for coffee and a chat. PrYme Movers encourages participation and belonging, which are fundamental to quality of life.

    For Strong Bones. A supervised, previously designed strength program, using gymnasium equipment for strong bones. Please make an appointment with gym staff prior to starting this program.

Participants will workout on user friendly weight machines, set at their own weight, according to their strength and fitness level. Note: All BoneFit classes run in 8 week cycles and must be booked pior to attending.

    Vinyasa - Known for their fluid, movement-intensive practices, Vinyasa teachers choreograph their classes to smoothly transition from pose to pose. These classes cultivate balance, flexibility, strength and endurance.

    Ashtanga- Comprises of set poses rather than freestyle sequences. There are six sequences in this style and members work progressively through the postures. The emphasis is on synchronising breath with movement, focussed breathing, core strength and internal focus 

    Hatha - Focused on slow and gentle movements, Hatha yoga is relaxing and restorative and involves simple breathing exercises and meditation.
