Reciprocal Rights: Centre Offerings
As a participant in a YMCA program, you may be aware that the YMCA is one of Australia's oldest and most respected not for profit organisations, with a history extending over 155 years. What you may not realise, is that we are also one of the largest with over 380 centres across Australia.
As an added benefit of being a YMCA program participant, you are also eligible for our YMCA reciprocal rights program offering casual access to YMCA aquatic, fitness and recreation facilities, along with numerous other activities and services.
Perhaps you're going away on holidays, in the city for a meeting or out of town on business, whatever the reason, you're welcome at the Y!
Whilst children under 16 years are not allowed to use YMCA fitness facilities, they can enjoy a swim at any one of our aquatic centres or any number of other activities on offer.
The reciprocal rights program is for use at YMCAs other than your own. The table below details what's available where. Some terms and conditions apply.

General Terms and Conditions
- Up to 2 visits per month on a casual basis or up to 2 weeks continual use per annum. Usual Centre terms and conditions apply.
- Valid for general facility use only. Does not include programs unless specified.
- Subject to availability; full fee paying local members have priority where places are limited.
- Children 10 years and under using YMCA aquatics facilities must be actively supervised at all times by a person 16 years and over. Children under 5 years must be within arms reach of a person 16 years and over at all times.
- All first time exercisers will be required to complete a pre-activity questionnaire.
