Mount Annan Leisure Centre Aquatic Facilities Upgrade
As you are aware Mount Annan Leisure Centre is currently undertaking a major redevelopment with stage 1 already concluded and stage 2 well underway. There is a significant transformation occurring through this $13.65 million project which includes the construction of new amenities, fitness centre, multipurpose sports hall, expansion of the crèche facilities, additional car parking and upgrades to the entry foyer and kiosk.
Additional funding has been approved by Camden Council to upgrade the aquatic facilities. Works will include upgrades to the change rooms, painting, replacement of pool expansion joints and replacement of pool grating surrounds to name a few. These works will provide better facilities to all members and guests of Mount Annan Leisure Centre.
The works are scheduled to take 6 (six) weeks and will require the closure of the aquatic facilities from Wednesday 26 April to Sunday 4 June 2017, inclusive.
As a result of the temporary closure, Swim School students and Squad swimmers will be affected. Lessons will not be held throughout the closure period and all accounts will be put on hold for the length of the closure. Further communication on direct debit payment schedules will be provided at a later date.
The gym facilities will remain open and fully operational in the current temporary location. There will be no disruption to the existing group fitness timetable.
All direct debit members with access to the pool facilities and aquatic programs will receive a discounted rate on their membership to compensate for any inconvenience caused by the closure. Upfront members will be honoured additional time at the end of their contracts, where applicable.
The below memberships will receive the following discounted rate for the direct debit date Friday 18th of April and subsequent direct debits until the pool reopens. We will keep you informed and provide notice of direct debit changes.
